What does this software do?

If you would like to not be bothered with backing up your website files and databases, this software will take care of that chore for you automatically! If you have several websites and/or you're a webhosting company that would like to offer this service to your clients, additional licenses can be purchased very inexpensively. Please note that a separate license per account is required, and quantity discounts are available.

The frequency of backups is fully configurable. For example, you can backup your databases more frequently than your files (or vice-versa).

If you have an ftp account at a site that's different from the site you're backing up, you can automatically place a copy of the backup at that off-site location, for added protection.

NEW! Multiple Generations of backups are supported. For example, you can configure the backups so that you keep the 3 most recent backups of files and the 5 most recent backups of databases. This protects you in the event that your newest backup contains information that has been compromised by a hacker for example.

Automated GPG encryption of your backups (if desired)
